🥞 Ingredients

For the crêpes:

  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/4 cups (300ml) milk

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


For the Orange Swirl Suzette sauce:

  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter

  • 1/3 cup Bees & Berry Orange Swirl Creamed Honey 🍯

  • Zest of 1 orange

  • 1/2 freshly squeezed orange juice  and 1/2 of lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp orange liqueur (Grand Marnier or Cointreau)

  • Optional: 1 tbsp brandy (for flambé 🔥)


🍳 Instructions

1. Make the crêpe batter

  1. Whisk flour, sugar, and salt.

  2. Add eggs, then gradually whisk in milk.

  3. Mix in melted butter and vanilla.

  4. Let rest 20 mins.


2. Cook the crêpes

  1. Heat a lightly buttered pan over medium heat.

  2. Pour a thin layer of batter and swirl.

  3. Cook ~1 minute, flip, then 30 seconds more.

  4. Stack and keep warm.


3. Make the Orange Swirl honey sauce 🍯✨

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Stir in Orange Swirl Creamed Honey until it melts into the butter.

  3. Add orange zest, orange juice, and lemon juice.

  4. Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes until glossy and slightly thick.

4. Combine

  1. Fold crêpes into quarters.

  2. Place into the sauce and spoon generously over them.

  3. Let soak for 1–2 minutes.


5. Optional flambé 🔥

  1. Warm the liqueur slightly.

  2. Pour over the pan and ignite carefully.

  3. Let flames burn off naturally.
